First things first!...

Well, we all know that to start a new life (literally speaking), it's having a baby... But for most of us, before having a baby we need to get....A partner (in most of the cases)!! ...

So, we start a relationship with this special person, and suddenly we decide that it's the one..We want to spend the rest of our life together and plan a baby, a life, adventures, shopping, etc.. First step, ask the magical question:


WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Let's pretend he/she said YES!... Time to star planning the engagement party!!!

But, how do we do that? what do we need? 

Well, here's a few simple steps (kind of guide) to help you plan this beautiful and fun celebration:

1.  Get engage...I think it's obvious..
2. Where to host it?.. Simple, wherever you want. There's no rule for that. It could be on a restaurant, park or your backyard. The budget will help you to decide.
3. Think who will host the party..Traditionally the parents of the bride host the first celebration, or the parents of the groom. But these days it could be host by a friend, or the couple.
4. The ideal time to have this party will be a few weeks or months after asking the question. You want to give the notice as soon as possible so everybody can save the date, and start planning the wedding
5. Don't get excited inviting everybody you know, hold that for the wedding if you want. This is a special celebration, so invite the closest friends and family.
6. Save some money on the invitations. You can DIY, send a email, use the social media or do some research about those wedding invitation websites that also offer engagement party invitations online. You don't need to be fancy for this.
7. And this is the most important part...What to serve that day...Well basically you can choose a theme, or a menu from the venue. Get a catering company who can please your palate and keep in mind to choose something that everybody could like, and some allergies. Your guests will appreciate that..
